Creating Individualized Videos
for Overseas Missionaries

My name is David Mansfield and my mission is to serve European missionaries through video. God has given me vision to produce short video productions in order to serve missionaries overseas. My family and I served as missionaries in Berlin, Germany and know the triumphs and difficulties of living overseas. Currently I am a part-time missionary with this ministry. The other half of my time I work at a large church in their technical department.

On Location

Frequent trips to Europe are made with the purpose to visit missionaries on location. During that time I spend approximately 3 days per missionary video taping and partnering to produce an appropriate video message.
Selected Openings

Before I travel, GCM staff are contacted and given the opportunity to utilize this service. After all GCM staff are selected, any available schedule openings are given to non GCM staff on a first come, first served basis (with confirmation).
Pre-Production

Once all openings are selected, I encourage each missionary to prepare a script for their video project. Pre-production is vital in creating a purposeful, effective media piece. Whether it's a support raising tool, thank you or evangelistic video to be used at your location, pre-production will save us many valuable hours for filming and producing the best video for your needs.
Video Length

A video length of 6-8 minutes is ideal, although many stories can be told more succintly. Anything longer and you start to lose your audience.
Payment

GCM staff will pay by internal transfer at our home office. Non GCM staff will write a check made out to "Great Commission Ministries" and mail it to:

Keeping costs down
  • If I travel to your location, I ask that I be picked up/dropped off at the airport or train station.
  • I request to stay in a missionary's home during the video shoot duration. (meals provided by the missionary please)
  • If the above options are not available, I would appreciate help with how to get to and from your location and what the best accommodation options would be.
